“Build courage in your work and in yourself. Learn to love the camera and make the camera love you.”
This class will address all aspects of acting for the camera, from the audition to the job. The subtlety of working with the camera is a delicate dance. Don’t let your inner critic get in your way. Learn to trust yourself that you are doing enough. The camera will do the rest.
Conquer the mental game of auditioning for the camera. Auditioning well can make the difference between having a career or not. You can be a wonderful actor and not work enough because you do not know how to audition. Gain the experience and confident you need for your next audition.
-
We will work on material from film, television, commercials and industrials.
-
Time will be spent on the cold audition process to the prepared scene or monologue.
-
You will find a way to allow your craft to work for you when in front of the camera.
-
You wil learn to understand the difference between stage acting and film acting.
-
Your work will be filmed, reviewed and critiqued each week.
